What is Unified Finance?
Unified Finance means running every part of a company's B2B money in one system: what you buy, the bills you receive, the invoices you send, the payments you make and collect, the cash you hold and the books that record it all. Viacle is built this way, as a single B2B financial operating system, so each transaction has one record instead of copies spread across separate tools.
What is a B2B financial operating system?
It is the one place where a company's financial operations actually run, not a dashboard that gathers data from other tools. In Viacle, purchasing, supplier bills, customer invoices, global payments, treasury and accounting share the same records, rules and approvals, so a change in one part shows up everywhere it matters.
How is Unified Finance different from connecting separate finance tools?
Connected tools copy data from one system to another, usually after the fact, so details get lost and records drift apart. In Viacle the order, bill, approval, payment, exchange rate, fee and journal entry belong to one trail. Nothing is re-keyed, and nothing has to be matched up again at month-end.
Which parts of finance does Viacle cover?
Accounting and ERP, accounts payable, accounts receivable, procurement, treasury and global payments. They are parts of one platform, not separate products to add on, and they work from the same data.
Who is Viacle for?
Finance leaders at small and mid-market companies that pay suppliers and get paid by business customers: CFOs, controllers, VPs of finance and finance operations teams. It also suits owners who manage the finances themselves.
What is Viacle not built for?
Viacle is built for business-to-business payments and the financial operations behind them. Payroll, HR and consumer checkout are outside its scope.
How Viacle works
How does one purchase move through Viacle?
Take order PO-2087: six laptops for €9,000 from a supplier in Germany. The order is approved against budget, and bill #A-311 is matched to the order and receipt and booked at 1.0800 as $9,720. It is paid at 1.0850 for $9,765 plus a $15 fee. The $45 exchange difference and the fee post to their own accounts, so the $9,780 that left the bank ties back to the original order.
Does Viacle work across currencies and countries?
Yes. Viacle is built to be global from day one. Each transaction keeps its original currency next to your reporting currency, with the exchange rate and fees recorded alongside the payment. The currencies and countries available for payments depend on where your business operates and are confirmed when you get set up.
Is Viacle a bank?
No. Viacle is software. Funds are held and moved by regulated banking and payment partners, while Viacle keeps the record of every instruction, approval and result.
Do we still need separate tools for reconciliation, the close or treasury?
Viacle is built so you don't need them. Payments stay linked to their bills and invoices, the close starts from records that already agree, and cash in every currency sits next to what you owe and what you're owed.
What happens when something doesn't match?
Viacle holds it for review and shows the difference with the original records beside it, so your team can see what happened and approve the fix. The correction stays open until it is approved and checked.
Control and security
How does Viacle keep payments under control?
Your rules decide. Approvals follow the limits you set, and duplicate bills, unusual amounts, changed supplier bank details and first payments to new suppliers are held for review before money leaves your account. Incoming payments that don't match an invoice are flagged too.
How is our financial data protected?
With AES-256 encryption at rest, TLS 1.2+ in transit, role-based permissions and a complete history of every change. Your data is always exportable. Viacle does not sell personal data and does not use customer financial records to train third-party AI models.
Can every number be traced to its source?
Yes. Every figure links back to the transaction, document and approval behind it, so reviewers and auditors can follow it to the source without asking around.
Does Viacle produce GAAP-ready financial statements?
Yes. Profit and loss, balance sheet and cash flow statements are GAAP-ready, with multi-entity consolidation and tracking dimensions on your chart of accounts.
